The round cabin, with its roof terrace accessible by its wooden bridge, gives you a splendid view of the ponds. It can accommodate 2 to 4 people in complete comfort.
You will find in this tiny house, kitchen area, shower, WC, heating and two 140 beds, one of which is a loft bed. We provide all household linen as well as essential cleaning products.
When you arrive, the beds will be made and bath towels will be provided. :
- All our cabins are equipped with a small kitchen area
- 2-burner gas cooktop, a fridge, a sink, washing up liquid, dish towels, utensils, cutlery, plates, bowls, glasses, mugs, pots, pans, a cafetière, salt, pepper,
- A travel cot for babies is available on request,
- All the cabins are heated which allows an all year round possibility to enjoy this magical place,
- The terrace, equipped with tables and chairs and of course a BBQ, allows you to eat outside and fully enjoy the view over the three fishing ponds.
Beds will be made and towels provided on arrival.

In the village of Vouvant you will find several restaurants a chemist and a grocery store, which is a 5-minute drive from our rentals. We can advise you on the best restaurants when you arrive!
The towns of Fontenay le Comte or La Chataigneraie are located about ten kilometers from the Cabanes des 3 Étangs.
Is there wifi?
No, on the other hand 5G works very well.
Are our dogs allowed to come with us to Les cabanes des 3 étangs ?
You should warn us, but yes dogs are welcome, if they are well behaved and kept on a leash, the cabins are in donkey and sheep fields and they don’t like to be bothered by unruly dogs.
Don’t forget to bring sturdy walking shoes or welly boots, we are in the countryside, especially from November to February.
Activities:
- Hiking, mountain biking and horse riding (because yes it is possible to accommodate riders and their horses).
- IGN hikes of 4 to 15 kilometers are available from the Cabanes des 3 étangs
- Meeting the animals living on the estate (donkeys, sheep, chickens, cats and dogs).
- Fishing is possible in the ponds,but only NO KILL, so you can fish for roach, bream, tench, zander, pike, perch, and carp. We just ask that you do not leave waste on the site, including used fishing line, hooks and lead weights which are dangerous for birds and the animals.
- In addition to the cabins, take advantage of over 8 acres of our property, with its meadow.
- The cabins des 3 étangs, are positioned in a context of green tourism located within the commune of Bourneau, in the south Vendée.
- An wonderful setting for forest lovers, nature and calm, located not far from the Mervent forest and Vouvant, classified among one of the most beautiful villages in France and above all, is a Medieval artist’s village.
Arrivals are possible from 5 p.m. and departures before 12 p.m. Parking spaces are provided in the courtyard, not far from the cabins.
